Structure plan
Urban Design Guidelines for Victoria, published by the State of Victoria (Australia) in 2016, defines a structure plan as: ‘A land use planning framework of policies, objectives and actions in an identified area, guiding decisions about change for a period of years into the future. The plan sets out an integrated vision for the desired future development of a place and can use clauses, diagrams and schedules to guide infrastructure, built form and land-use change in order to achieve specific environmental, social and economic objectives. The process is called structure planning.’
